My sweet little nephew entered the world on Oct.14, 2010! Thankfully, Pierson and I were able to leave fairly soon after we got the call that "today was the day" and made it to Longview before Jackson made his debut. We had originally gone up to the hospital to just check on how my brother and Jannon were doing, but once we got there, things were moving very quickly and ended up just staying in the waiting room until he was born. It was so exciting to sit in anticipation for his arrival! This also meant entertaining the two little "Misses" in the family as well :) We had the usual toys and snacks, but as most of you know, even that wears off after a while.
Little Miss P started running down the hallway screaming and laughing! Not good to wake all the tired new mommies and babies.
She sure was having fun though :)
Of course, she had lots of attention! She waited with Nana for a little bit.
Being silly with aunt Kelly. Poor bow just was not staying in with all her running around :) But don't you worry, I just kept sticking it right back in!!!!
Getting some lovin from PawPaw and Gamps!
And then FINALLY baby Jackson was here!!!! (It actually really wasn't that long, but you know how it is when you are just waiting)
Sweet precious baby!!!
New mommy Jannon with her new little love :)
The siblings with all our little ones!
Introducing Maddie and Pierson to their new cousin
Getting passed around to all the girls in his life :) I'm sure his daddy will be able to give him all kinds of pointers on how to deal with us all.
Uncle Bubba making sure the girls got their share of attention too!
It was such a blessing to be able to be there and be a part of this miracle. Every time there is a baby born, I am just reminded so vividly of how miraculous our Father is and when it happens in your family, it just makes it just that much more real. I still can't believe that my little brother is a daddy now! I know that he will be the best daddy little Jackson could ask for and that he and Jannon will love that little boy with all their hearts. I'm already looking forward to getting to hold my little nephew again soon :)
