First Trip to the Dentist

Pierson recently had her first trip to the dentists office. I had no idea how it would go or what to expect, but she actually did pretty well!
She started off by checking out all the toys in the office. Once the dentist came in, she got to wear some pretty pink glasses and she even said "ahhh" for a few seconds to let her look at her teeth. Thankfully that is all they needed because that was as much as they were going to get.

She got a special sticker to wear, a new pink toothbrush and even got to pick out a new toy from the prize box!

The big girl ready to head to the car with her new goodies!

Snow Days of 2011!

It is no secret that the Cruthirds do NOT enjoy the cold weather! We are definitely a sun, pool and flip flops family and so those few weeks of extreme cold and icky weather was about to have the best of us. We did have a few fun days, especially with the snow! We are definitely glad that it has passed though. Trying to keep an energetic 23 month old entertained indoors for that long really makes you put on your creative hat!
We started by playing in baby Reid's stuff that mommy started getting out! They were like all new toys for little P!

We played A LOT of dress up! I mean A LOT!!!!!

We even did some finger painting with pudding when we got bored with the regular finger painting

The snow days were pretty fun! Pierson could hardly wait to get outside and play in it.

The best part of the snow day was getting to have daddy home to play with us!

All bundled up and ready to play!

Riding the sled down our street

Switched over to the laundry basket down our driveway :)

Walking around in her favorite boots!
We took a break from the cold and made some homemade snowcream!

It was Pierson and Ryan's first time to ever have some!!!!

Princess Party

At the beginning of January, Pierson was invited to her very first Princess Party for her cousin, Ainsley. She had never been to a "princess party" before so I had no idea if she would get into it or not, but we thought it would be fun to give it a try. When we arrived, she put on her first princess Cinderella dress and her "prettys" as she calls them. Pierson had an absolute blast! She loved watching the bigger "princesses" dance around. Sadly, my camera ran out of batteries right as the party was starting so I only have pics from my phone.
Cinderella herself was the entertainment for the party!

Pierson even let Cinderella paint her face! I was shocked that she sat still this long!

All the precious little princesses :)

Taking a break with daddy.

Learning how to be a princess from Cinderella

It was such a fun party and I absolutely loved watching Pierson get into the dressing up and girly, girly stuff. It was definitely a day that I was SO glad I had a little girl to get to do that with :)
