Lately....

Just because I haven't updated the blog lately, definitely doesn't mean that we haven't been busy!!! Pierson has had many of her friends turn ONE this month so she has been quite the party go-er.

She had a blast at Mase Edison's red wagon party!

This is about as social as we could get them at the party. Way too busy playing!

First time to eat cheese puffs and of course she loved them because they are messy, messy!

Then she had a 'ball 'at Brooks Jurgensen's baseball party!

Daddy taking Pierson and Mase on a wagon ride. Nice way to start supervised dates :)

Cheeeeeeezin it for dad!

We ended this weekend by watching a little Baylor baseball. We were lucky to see the game when our favorite player, Logan Vick, hit two home runs!!!

She also got to meet her first ladybug while at the ballpark.
Pierson's friends Hudson and Addyson also turned ONE this month! She is so blessed to have such wonderful little friends in her life already.

On the home front...we have officially started packing! We are under contract on a new house, set to close on June 24th, which we are soooooo excited about. I will post pics once the deal is completely official, but I must say it is super cute :) The next month is going to be C-R-A-Z-Y due to packing, traveling, etc. but we are looking forward to taking many breaks at the pool!
More updates soon.........

Happy Mother's Day!

Why just celebrate a special occasion on ONE day? I have always been a fan of making it a 'weekend' or 'week' affair and when it comes to Christmas, a 'month' affair. I love to celebrate and will use any occasion as an excuse to celebrate more. Since Mother's Day is a special one for me :), I definitely got to celebrate all weekend. Ryan took off half a day on Friday and I headed to Austin with two of my dear friends, Genny and Melissa for a girls shopping trip! We were able to shop all afternoon on Friday, go out to a fun dinner and then shop all day on Saturday. I was absolutely exhausted from the constant shopping. I really can't remember when I was tired of shopping. I was pooped, but had a wonderful time! This was only my second night away from Pierson so I was ready to get back and see my baby. I returned to a happy baby and an amazing hubby holding down the fort. Sunday started off by Starbucks and flowers and the Mother's Day "stocking" filled with fun little treats. Oh, my husband knows me so well! We went to church, had lunch, spent a low key afternoon together and ended the day with my fave, Ninfa's. Seriously, how blessed can one mommy be! Being a mom is absolutely wonderful. It definitely has is challenges, but at the end of the day, the rewards are always so much greater.
My little blessing :)

Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful mother who has taught me so much about being a mom and to my mother-in-law for raising such an amazing husband who knows how to make a mom feel special on Mother's Day!
