Waaaaaaaay behind!

I didn't think that it had been that long since I last updated the blog, but once I started to look at all the pictures, I realized that waaaaay too many things had happened lately that I hadn't posted yet! We have had quite a busy fall so far and so much fun getting outside and enjoying this beautiful weather. Pierson had her 18 month check up and she is growing like a weed. They actually had to measure her height twice because they were surprised at how much she had grown (UP!).
Weight: 24.6
Height: 33 3/4
Head Circ: 47.3
I am having a hard time grasping that her next "official" appointment is when she will be TWO! But, I am "that" mom so I know we will be in there many more times before that hits :)

Some of Pierson's friends have already hit the big 2 and so we have been able to celebrate with them. She attended her first party at the Lion's Park.
This was Pierson's first time to ride any type of ride too. We stuck her in the boat with Hudson and Brooks and watched them go. For the most part, she enjoyed herself. We got several "Why are you making me do this?" looks, but then they eventually turned to smiles!

Daddy of the year scrunched himself in the ride with Pierson and Brodie because I was not going to let her ride that alone. Her little daredevil self would have totally jumped ship!
I got to ride with them on the train ride around the park!

Ryan was able to take a day off from work and Pierson wanted to show him one of her favorite places to go...the zoo!

She LOVED having her daddy there with her!

Giving the "monkey" a kiss

We then went out to the ballpark!
We went to Burgers on the Berm to support the Baylor Baseball Diamond Girls and had a blast! This was our first time to go, but it was such a fun little BU event. We will definitely be going back.

Pierson had a great time running around on the hill with her friends
Horrible pic, but it was so cute watching all the dad's trying to watch the scrimmage while keeping up with the kids while the wives sat up top talking and watching it all :)
Pierson made a new friend for the weekend too. Ryan Orr came to stay with us for a night and Pierson was eating up all the new attention.
The next morning, she was up and ready to tailgate at the game. She even got to have her first BU sprinkled doughnut!
Daddy took the girls out to play a little golf on Sunday afternoon and started teaching Pierson how to putt with her little pink putter!
I think we might have a little golfer on our hands :)

We were not able to venture up to the Baylor vs. Tech game so we just cheered them on from our house! I wish I could have gotten more pictures, our house was filled with Baylor fans and their little future Bears. Pierson's Lita was even able to come down for a quick visit!

Lita played with her inside and outside and Pierson couldn't get enough!
She played and played all morning and afternoon with her friends and she finally just....
CRASHED!

Seriously! She just laid down in the middle of the floor with the playing, TV and yelling all around her and just went to sleep. How stinkin cute!!!! She ended up sleeping about an hour in that one spot after the game was over!!! First time for everything :)

A few little things little Miss P is into right now...
Her babies and her nap mat! We take what I call her entourage with us everywhere we go. Her entourage includes her two baby dolls, Mr. Monkey, who also gets called a baby sometimes too, and he blankie. She loves to make her babies go "night-night" on her nap mat. She amazes me with this things that she picks up and learns. It is so sweet to see her take care of her babies! She covers them with her blankie, pats them on the back and even gives them some of her milk. Absolutely precious!
A Pierson and mommy favorite, Jamba Juice smoothies. During this first trimester, these little yummies have been quite a life saver for mommy and since Pierson ALWAYS wants exactly what I have, I decided to go ahead and save the battle and get her one. I kid you not, her mouth did not leave the straw the entire ride home!

I am absolutely loving this age! She is becoming quite my little buddy, learning and copying, trying new things, showing more and more of her sweet yet sassy personality. We have a busy schedule of fun fall things ahead so hopefully I can keep up!!!!
